One More Makes 4!

So I think most people know by now but for those of you that don't - we are expecting Johnson baby #4 on February 14th 2011. We are getting pretty excited now that the initial shock has finally worn off. And all three of the kids are through the roof excited. Ella just keeps asking who she can tell next. They all want the baby to sleep in their room but we will have to work all of that out later. I am 14 weeks pregnant and so far things are going great. I have already had 2 ultrasound showing a happy and healthy little bean growing with a strong heartbeat of 165! So far so good. We will be having our 20 week ultrasound in late September and yes we will be finding out the sex! I am not a patience person an I want to know! But so does Kelly!

Abby Got Baptized!

I can't believe out little girl is 8 years old! Last Saturday my beautiful baby chose to get baptized and join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We are so proud of her for her descision and for the beautiful, sweet young lady she is growing into. She has been so excited for this and has been planning it for months. She of course got to go shopping and buy her baptism dress and then she was planning how she wanted her hair and which friends she wanted to invite. It was a rather stressful day for Mom and Dad but I think it all went well and turned out great. Thank you so much to all of our family and friends that came to support her. She is truly blessed to be surrounded by such great people!

Fourth of July

What a fun holiday weekend. On Saturday we had some chores to do around the house and some work stuff to do but we had a BBQ with just us in the evening, then we went over to Riverton Park and watched the big fireworks show. On Sunday we lit off fireworks in the circle with all the neighbors, the kids had so much fun hanging out with friends and lighting sparklers. They on Monday Kelly had the day off for the holiday, so we decided to got hike Timpanogos with the kids. It was a long hike but the kids were great troopers and had a lot of fun. We finished the day with Gammy coming down for dinner. Nothing too exciting but a fun holiday none the less.

Twins Preschool Graduation

I can't believe it but the twins have graduated from preschool already! It was a truly fun graduation from an awesome preschool with two wonderful teachers. It was such a cute little program with some songs and showing us all what they had learned. Their teacher had purchased real graduation gowns and they looked so adorable. They really do miss going to school but they are loving their summer vacation and they are anxiously awaiting kindergarten! They got their track assignment this week and they will be starting kindergarten the last week of August!

Comcast Cares Day!

Every year Comcast sponsors a service day for it's employees and volunteers across the country and this year Kelly was chosen to help run one of the projects in the Salt Lake area. He had been working for months with the school organizing projects and working with school officials to get everything arranged. But it is finally over! Saturday Kelly got to the school early and me and the kids followed at 7:00 am. We helped to clean the school, make a tererium for the schools new pet, hang decorative lettering, and more. There were over 200 volunteers that worked at the school including Uncle Cody and Aunt Lisa. It was a great day for the kids to do some service for others and for all of us to spend a day together as a family.

Aiden the Karate Kid

Aiden had started doing karate back in September as his sports activity and he absolutely loves it. He has gotten so good he already has 5 stripes on his white belt and is working hard on earning his yellow belt. He can be such a shy little boy sometimes but when he is doing Karate it really builds his confidence and he comes out of his shell. In February he had his first karate tournament and did awesome. He took first place in 3 events and 2nd place in 2 events. We could not have been prouder. He is just too cute to take in his little karate gi and practicing his stances. We sure love him and are so happy to watch our little buddy do what he loves.

Finally A New Update!

Okay so I have been getting a lot of slack for getting behind on postings so here I go trying to catch up a little. In January Abby was out of school for 4 weeks and we were starting to get a little bored. So we decided to be tourists in Utah for a week. We went to the Monte Bean Museum at BYU, toured Sweets Candy Factory, visited Krispy Kreme Donuts, visited the Utah museum of natural history, the aquarium, and the church history museum. Needless to say it didn't just cure our boredom it just wore us out. It is amazing that you can live in a state for you entire life and have never visited some places! We are hoping when Abby goes off track again in the spring that we can find some more places and continue of Utah Vacation!

Christmas and New Years!

What a great Holiday season! First off it was great because Jen's brother James and his wife Bethany and their little girl Sophia were able to come to Utah for Christmas. We hadn't seen them in a couple of months and Sophia has changed so much so it was really fun to spend time with them. We spent Christmas Eve at the annual Tippets Family party and got a chance to catch up with the family which is always fun! Then Christmas day we hung out at the house until the afternoon and then went to Uncle Cody and Aunt Lisa's for the Johnson family Christmas dinner and presents. The kids had a blast and uncle Luke deep fried a turkey that was fabulous. Then the day after Christmas we went to Jen's dads house for her family's Christmas get together! For the last couple of years we have spent the night over their so the cousins can hang out together and it is always a lot of fun - until Kelly, Jen and Aiden woke up in the middle of the night with the stomach flu! The next 3 days after that were spent trying to get better! I think pretty much everyone in both Kelly's family and Jen's family ended up sick at one time or another that week.

For New Years we had planned on spending it with friends but a last minute funeral for an extended relative created a scheduling problem so we just spent it at home as a family playing games and having fun snacks!

Aside from the whole getting sick situation it really was a great holiday season - but we are glad we don't have to do it again until next year!
