We were lucky enough to get a chance to spend 2 days at Little Sahara with our friends. We got to camp, ride ATV's, and just plain have fun. The kids loved it and even the grown ups had a alot of fun. We managed to survive the trip with only one minor injury, Aiden managed to hit his head on the 4 wheeler and even with the helmet on he got a rather nice cut on his eyebrown. But it all ended well. Thanks to Scott for letting us use all of his ATV's and organizing the trip.

Happy Easter!
Okay so I am starting to get a little behind on blogging. We had a great little Easter nothing to over the top which worked out perfect. Earlier in the week Gammy (Kelly's Mom) visited the kids and gave them a ton of little Easter presents. We decorated eggs on Saturday night and then had a great Easter morning with little baskets and an egg hunt. Then we went over to Panka (grandpa Tippets) and Grandma Michele's and had dinner and another egg hunt! It was a great Easter and we are just so grateful for such great family and friends!

Visiting Vernal!
On Wednesday night I made a last minute decision to take the kids to Vernal to visit our friends the Lintons. For those of you that don't know the Lintons they are some of our best friends and they moved from our neighborhood about 8 months ago for a new job and we haven't been able to make it down to visit them until now. Well the kids were over the top excite just to see each other. It was so much fun, all 5 of the older kids just played together and had no interest in being around the grown ups. We just hung out and watched movies on Thursday night and then went to the dinosaur museum and McDonalds on Friday before we headed home. It was way to short of a trip but it was so good to get a chance to be with friends and be out of the house for a couple of days.

Mommy and Abby's Georgia Vacation!
What a great experience. My brother James graduated from the officers canidacy program on April 2nd and me and Abby decided to fly out to Fort Benning, Georgia to be there, along with my three sisters, my Dad and Michele, and my nephew Hunter. We went to the graduation on Thursday and it rained all day. It was a long day and poor Abby fell asleep during the graduation, but it was awesome to be able to be there with James for such and important day. Friday James gave us a tour around the army post and we went to the new army infantry museum (which is not quite finished). Then we went and saw the tanks which the kids just loved. We also shopped around at some of the store on and around the army post. Then Saturday we drove up to Atlanta and went to the Georgia Aquarium, the Coke factory, and the underground. The aquarium was so cool and Abby just loved the jelly fish, but she was bummed that the dolphin exhibit was closed for remodeling. The Coke factory was fun as well, they have a tasting room where you can taste coke products from all around the world, which gave all of us a tummy ache. All in all it was a great trip and a good experience for Abby. Oh and Kelly and the twins did survive while we were away, although I think there was a lot of pizza and snaking!

Icky Sicky Kids
What a crazy month we have had here. A few weeks ago Ella was struggling with a cold. Then two weeks ago she climbed on Kelly's lap and just wasn't feeling good. We took her temperature and she was at 104 and was having trouble breathing. I rushed her to the insta care where they told me they thought she had pnemonia but their x-ray machine was down so I needed to take her to a different insta care. So I loaded her in the car and drove through the horrible snow and icy roads to get her to another insta care. On my way there I called Kelly to tell him what was going on and I can hear Abby screaming in the background and Kelly informs me that Abby was playing around and pretending to do karate and fell on her wrist and it may be broken. Well to make a long story short Ella did have pneumonia and RSV and something called Metapneumo virus, we made 9 trips to the doctors that week to check oxygen levels and breathing and we spent one night at Primary Childrens hospital for observation, but now she is doing great and back to her normal happy little self. and Abby did break her wrist which is now cast in a beautiful light blue cast covered in the names of her friends. I am planning to post some pictures of her cute little arm as soon as I can. All I can say is thankgoodness for modern medicine!

Silly School Days!
It has been a really fun couple of months for school. The twins had a pirate day at preschool where they got to come to school dressed up as pirates! And then this week it was Dr. Seuss' Birthday. We are huge fans of Dr. Seuss and had a lot of fun celebrating. All three kids got to have green eggs and ham at school! The kids were invited to dress up as a character from a Dr. Seuss book for his birthday and Abby and her friend Colby planned it all out. They wanted to be thing 1 and thing 2 from The Cat in The Hat. The problem is they have blue spikey hair, so we had to put our thinking caps on and come up with some way to make it work. To make a long story short I learned to knit hats out of blue fuzzy yarn! Then the twins decided they wanted to do the same thing for preschool so we did!
